Jocelyn Benson Picks Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks as Running Mate

GRAND RAPIDS — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jocelyn Benson announced Wednesday that Michigan Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks will be her running mate.
Brinks has served in the Michigan Senate since 2019 and represents Grand Rapids.
The other ticket
The announcement came days after Republican gubernatorial candidate John James said state Rep. Jay DeBoyer would run with him for lieutenant governor.
Voters decide the race on Nov. 3.
