Reported by Detroit Metro Times.
An amended lawsuit filed in the Michigan Court of Claims asks a judge to bar Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, the Democratic nominee for governor, from the Nov. 3 ballot.
The 76-page complaint from Highland Park activist Robert Davis alleges Benson submitted a false affidavit of identity when she qualified to run. Davis has a long record of challenging candidates' ballot eligibility.
